NEW FORT LANGLEY SPIRIT SQUARE OPENS AT BC'S BIRTHPLACE
FORT LANGLEY – The Birthplace of B.C. has officially opened its Spirit Square.

LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACHIEVEMENT CERTIFICATES AWARDED
VICTORIA – Nine local government employees from communities across British Columbia, recognized for their education and work experience in the local government field, are being awarded the following certificates by the provincial Board of Examiners.

FUNDING HELPS ESTABLISH SOOKE SPIRIT SQUARE
SOOKE – A Spirit Square connecting Sooke’s commercial, residential and green spaces will be possible thanks to $237,500 from the Province’s B.C. Spirit Squares program, Ida Chong, Minister of Technology, Trade and Economic Development, announced on behalf of Community Development Minister Blair Lekstrom.

COMMUNITY TRUST FUNDS PRINCE GEORGE TRAIL IMPROVEMENTS
PRINCE GEORGE – Through the Job Opportunities Program, Prince George will receive $166,411 to improve safety on the Cranbrook Hill Greenway trails, Community Development Minister Blair Lekstrom and Forests and Range Minister Pat Bell announced.
