Information, Privacy and Records Branch

The Information, Privacy and Records Branch supports the records management and freedom of information and protection of privacy programs within the Ministry of Health.

Records Management:

• ensures compliance with the Document Disposal Act, (RSBC 1996, c. 99)
• ensures government records management Policies and Procedures are adhered to

Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy:

• coordinate requests for general information to ensure compliance with the  Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act
• coordinates request for personal information to ensure compliance with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act

• your request should be in writing
• ensure you complete all contact information
• ensure your request is clear and to the point

You may submit your request either in the form of a written letter or use the Ministry of Management Services Request for Access to Records form (PDF 23KB)
