About the Emergency and Health Services Commission
In addition to a reporting relationship with the Ministry of Health, the EHSC also receives direction from the EHSC Board, which is comprised of representatives from each of the six health authorities, members of the Ministry of Health Executive Committee, and other public representatives. Board members are appointed by the Lieutenant Governor in Council.
