Legislation and Regulations

The EMA Licensing Board and EMA Licensing Branch operate under the following legislation and regulations:

• Emergency and Health Services Act
• Emergency Medical Assistants Regulation
• Emergency and Health Services Regulation

Schedule 3 of the EMA Regulation includes a Code of Ethics.  The code of ethics provides general principles of ethical conduct to guide EMAs in meeting their duties to the public and to the profession.
