To schedule a jurisprudence examination, submit electronically the Jurisprudence Examination Scheduling form.
Important Thing to Know
- Applicants who have never held a British Columbia EMR, PCP, ACP, CCP or ITT licence are required to complete the B.C. jurisprudence examination.
Information about Jurisprudence Examination
- Review the Jurisprudence Preparatory Manual. B.C. material begins on page 14.
- The B.C. jurisprudence examination is an online, open book exam.
- The exam covers components of the EMA Regulations, EMA licensing policies, the Emergency and Health Services Act, the Good Samaritan Act and the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation.
- There are 25 questions and the passing grade is 70 per cent.
- There are unlimited numbers of attempts permitted to successfully pass this exam.
