Applying for Licensure in British Columbia – Complete a Paramedic Training program within B.C.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOUR EVALUATIONS:

On completion of your written exam, the proctor will mail your package (including any scrap paper used) to this office for marking. You will be notified of your results by email within approximately 2 weeks.

On completion of the online jurisprudence exam, the system will send your results to this office via the web form. You will be notified of your results within a week.

At the end of your practical evaluation day the exam coordinator will meet with you to review any feedback provided from the examiners on your performance during the course of the day. You will be told if you were successful or not at this time. Any remedial requirement(s) will be assigned at this time as well. Remedials may consist of practical scenario(s), practical skill test(s) and/or written remedial assignment(s).

All practical evaluations are returned to the EMALB offices for final review and sign off.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • You must complete your licensing exams within one year of your certification.
