Applying for Licensure in British Columbia – Complete a Paramedic Training program outside of B.C. but no license is currently held.

With the recent implementation of the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT), paramedics that hold a valid license in any province or territory in Canada can apply for licensure in any province or territory without the requirement for examination (other than evaluation to ensure knowledge of the province’s regulations). If you currently hold a valid paramedic license in Canada, you may apply through AIT. Go to the TILMA/AIT webpages for information.

International applicants should follow this process as well with the addition of the National Occupancy Competency Profile (NOCP) reports for their license level.
