Emergency Medical Assistants Licensing Board

Applying for Licensure in British Columbia – Complete a Paramedic Training program outside of B.C. but no license is currently held.

FORMS

• An Application for Registration form
• A Professional Experience Record form
• An Information on Basic Paramedic Education and Request for Transcript form from all the training agencies from which you wish your training to be considered. You must fill out Part A of these forms and have each training agency fill out Part B and return to us directly.
  • Official Transcripts must be sent directly to the EMA LB office from the above training agencies. Copies will not be accepted, nor will copies that are sent from the applicant.
• Verification of Paramedic Registration form
  You must fill out part A of this form and mark “not licensed’ in part B.
• Criminal Record Check
• An Application for License Form
• A recent (1 year old or less) colour photo of yourself is also required and will be used on your licence once it is issued.
