Applying for Licensure in British Columbia – Complete a Paramedic Training program outside of B.C. but no license is currently held.

INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS

International applicants must submit all the forms and photo as per the forms page.

International applicants are also required to complete competency comparison reports. The license levels in B.C. are Emergency Medical Responder (EMR), Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) and Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP). We also have specialized license level for infant transport. For details on the scope of practice for these license levels please refer to the EMA Licensing Regulation

There is no national competency for the EMR level. However, if you meet the requirements for PCP or ACP license levels the following NOCP forms are required.
