Licence Reinstatement
If your licence has expired, it may be reinstated if it would not be an undue risk to public health or safety. This is determined by undertaking a review of various factors, such as how long you have been out of practice and what kind of relevant learning and practical experiences you have had during that time.
It is possible that you will be required to complete training and/or examinations to ensure that you are competent to practice. It is also possible that you will have to successfully complete a full training program and examinations to become licensed again.
The review is done by one of the EMA Licensing Branch’s clinical advisors, and the final decision is made by the branch director.
To request a reinstatement, submit the
Request for Reinstatement form.
