Quick access to information based on government's structure
Trained individuals and organizations help minimize the impact of emergencies and ensure a more effective response system overall. Training may be done on an individual basis through workshops, seminars and courses, or collectively through exercises and other team activities.
One of our partners includes the Justice Institute of British Columbia, which provides a wide range of health emergency management courses, some of which are available on-line through their Emergency Management Division.
The Institute has developed a series of courses in health emergency management, both at the introductory trainer and executive levels. This program is being developed into a comprehensive health emergency management training and continuing education program for the B.C. health sector.
