Promote Healthy Eating

Fruit

Did You Know?

Two out of three B.C. adults do not eat enough vegetables and fruit.

Over half of B.C. adults are overweight or obese—and managing their weight is difficult when they’re surrounded by high-calorie choices.

Healthy eating means choosing nutritious foods and beverages whether you are at home, work or eating out.

Research shows that what children eat will help or hinder their school performance and productivity, so why is it any different for you at work?

Whether you work a nine-to-five job or shift work, eating well can help keep your energy levels up, stay productive and manage stress. To eat well wherever you are, plan to make the healthy choices the easy choices.
