How to Register

You must be enrolled in MSP before you can apply for Fair PharmaCare.

To register for Fair PharmaCare, be sure you have the Personal Health Number or PHN, printed on your CareCard, for every member of your family.

There are three ways to register for Fair PharmaCare:

If you require coverage urgently, please register online or by phone to receive immediate temporary coverage. If you register by mail, it may take 6-8 weeks for your application to be processed and for your temporary coverage to begin.

If you or your spouse does not have a Personal Health Number (PHN), submit a registration form by mail. In the space for the PHN, write the reason why you or spouse does not have a PHN (for example, "Canadian Forces" or "RCMP").

You can view an estimate of your Fair PharmaCare plan financial assistance by using the Fair PharmaCare Calculator.

Required Documents

No documents are required when you register for Fair PharmaCare. However, you must already have enrolled in MSP. After you register, PharmaCare will mail a consent form to you. Please sign and return the consent form immediately.
