- Links to the most recent infection control guidelines for a variety of settings.
- Framework for ethical decision-making; and,
- Guidance to the health sector on approaches for managing acute care services, home and community care services and primary care during the H1N1 influenza outbreak;
The Primary Care link is the home to the new Provincial Health Officer’s H1N1 Website for Health Care Providers. There are pages for physicians, pharmacists and health care providers. Each page on the site is set up to serve as a single resource portal for information on the H1N1 pandemic influenza.
The physician page was created to support physician’s access to clinical guidelines, office management suggestions, links to vetted patient information resources and any pertinent billing information from the Medical Services Commission. Also included are "situation reports" from health authorities, including service bulletins describing any added or scaled back programs that may impact physicians’ community practices.
