First Nations
Recent evidence and experience suggests that First Nations people in Canada, especially people living in remote areas, are particularly vulnerable to the H1N1 pandemic virus. As a result, some of the policies and guidelines concerning the response differ, not only from general (non-First Nations) guidelines, but also for First Nations people living in urban areas as compared to remote areas.
