Logistics

Effective supply of materials and medicine is an essential component of the provincial H1N1 response. The responsibility for vaccines, antivirals and pandemic supplies logistics planning, procurement, warehousing and distribution in the B.C. health sector is shared between the health authorities, BC Centre for Disease Control and the Pharmaceutical Services Division of the Ministry of Health.

Private sector members of the B.C. health community, such as private physicians, source and procure materials through well-established channels with industry suppliers.
