Product Identification Numbers
Product Identification Numbers (PINs) are created by PharmaCare. They allow claims to be adjudicated by the PharmaNet system when:
- A drug identification number (DIN) has not been supplied by First Databank.
- A drug or product is classified as an investigational drug or non-pharmaceutical.
- A drug or product needs a separate identifier for PharmaCare purposes.
