Having energy and meeting the body’s needs for essential nutrients can help older people remain active, and able to continue doing the things they enjoy. This can help to prevent or slow the progression of the most common chronic diseases and conditions. The Ministry has completed a handbook for older people, Healthy Eating for Seniors, to support a healthy lifestyle. It is available in English and will soon be published in Chinese and Punjabi.
