With many community gardens now
in their third year, a bounty of fresh
produce is becoming the norm and
communities are reaping the benefits
with every bite.
“We can do this. We actually can grow our
own food, and it could be successful if we had
everybody to help. We can grow our own food.
We don’t have to buy. . . and the store doesn’t
bring in much green produce. There it is.
We could have this all summer.”
